Are Nurses needed in correctional facilities?

let me put it this way…i know they are needed, but are jobs plentiful?

They are. It’s stressful and generally doesn’t pay especially well, so there’s lots of turnover, which translates into plenty of job opportunities.

  1. You damn well better believe. My wife and I are in the Army and one of our good friends just got out and got a job being a nurse at a federal prison. Those jobs are all over the place. No one wants to do it, but I think the pay is okay.
