How do I convince my judge that me working and paying is better than incarceration?

I go to court on Friday….I have been making a change and everyone who "know" me can vouch for me….and I see a significant change too….Im working (paying restitution, attending NA, doing community walks going through drug therepy…how do I convince the judge that I’m more beneficially to the free world than incarcerated….I have also been on house arrest for 5 months….

You need a lawyer to do all of that for you.

You need a lawyer to do all of that for you.

What does your lawyer/legal aid worker have to say? Probably get them to sign affidavits.

Did you violate your house arrest? If so you get to go to the pokey.

If not you should just outline everything you have been doing. It sounds like you are trying to get your life on the right track and I can’t see why you be thrown in jail for cleaning up and living right.

your lawyer or duty counsil will have to speak for you and you will need someone with good standing in the community for support
