I am so lost n feel helpless..Pls advise for I am not too educated. Thnk u…
If you are incarcerated and the life style you had prior to prison was involving drugs and a boyfriend that would sell your children, I doubt very seriously that your credit rating was anything to be proud of anyhow, but non-the-less, identity theft is a crime, report it and report your period of incarceration to the three major credit bureaus and dispute any activity or accounts generated during your incarceration. If you spent ten years in prison and didn’t take advantage of the education and trades training available in virtually all prisons in the US, shame on you. Personally, I don’t think we should be giving better educational opportunities to convicts than we do our former military personnel, but that is neither here nor there, currently those opportunities exist in our corrections system. If you are getting paroled, I hope that you have truly reformed, are clean and sober and have an honest desire to be a productive member of society and to be a good parent for your children. Good luck.
well call the police and tell them everything thats going they should be able to help

first get hold of the credit bureau and tell them your situation, you also might ask them who to contact for more info on cleaning up credit. it will take awhile to get the answers you are looking for but the credit bureau should have a good sense of what to do next. hope this helps a little. best of luck

Look on the internet search engine for FREE CREDIT REPORT, and when you find a place that will send you a free credit report, you can see exactly what places the people have been sending your name in to. The credit report place will send you a complaint form, so fill it out, and they will KNOW it could not have been you since you have proof (from the government) that you have been locked up. Relax. It will get cleared up.
