Should male offenders be mandated to pay for their incarceration?

Prisons are not as profitable as they thought they would be. If a man is incarcerated for a serious crime such as rape or murder, shouldn’t he pay for food medicine and clothes and electricity, water?
I don’t consider women’s prisons because there are not nearly as many
sure you can evict him…. to an Arizona prison. They use tents.

In Britain WRONGLY convicted inmates have their rent and food deducted from any compensation.

Of course ones who are actually guilty don’t have to pay a penny to stay there.

    I agree. Yet female false rape accusers should also be mandated to pay for their incarceration as well, plus all the court/ police procedures to prosecute an innocent man. Deal?

  3. Female rape accusers? Is this a personal thing? Christ almighty our world is psychotic. We have been brainwashed so well that not only do men hate women but now women hate each other and themselves because we are blamed for F – ING everything!

    That aside, some type of payment should be considered because it doesn’t help anyone to put a second offense rapist in jail for a few years. He just considers it waiting time.

  7. So you are saying that you are sexist and a bigot?
    Perhaps we should start giving men light sentences like we do to women, and that wouldn’t be a problem anymore.
    Also, we should release everyone who is there on drug offenses, since they didn’t really commit any crime. Most drug laws are based on racism anyway. If we released all of the "drug offenders" our prison population would be one half of what it is now.

  8. Stalin did something a lot like that. If you where involved in a crime you would be forced to work until you die, to even things out for society.
