You cannot be paroled froma county jail in Texas. Parole requires it be in a state penitentiary for a felony. If she is in a county jail, she will be released when her time is up.
If she is in a state jail (for a state jail felony), I do not think she is eligible for parole either, and she will be released when her time is up. In either case, she may still have probhation when she gets out of jail, but that is based on what the judge said. She does nothing but serve the time given to her by the judge.
If she is in TDCJ, she will be eligible for parole at some given time. The personnel at the prison unit will be able to explain exactly what the procedur eis, and will do it well before she is eligible. I do know that for parole, she has to be reviewed by the parole board and approved, so she needs a good plan on how to clean up her life (job, living quarters, rehabiliation, etc.)
