What happens if an inmate with a class 1 felony is involved in a fight in prison that left an inmate seriously?

If an inmate is class 1 and he is involved in a fight in prison that left another inmate seriously inured, how will he be disicipled? Will his classification change or will it change his parole date and if so how much more time will be added on to his sentence if found guilty?

He will have another criminal charge placed, he will go to court, if found guilty he will receive another sentence. His parole date will be so far in the future that he won’t have to worry about it.

Well first of all I’m pretty sure he will pick up ANOTHER case, which will lengthen his time..But was it in SELF defense? And is he in good with the gurads? Alot of times this helps..

  3. most of the time your looking at a new charge…goes to court and gets another sentence…in 99′ I was at Folsom prison , got into a fight and got 3 more years…(the other guy was a lifer, he didn’t even get charged)..
