Are there programs that will allow you to interview inmates?

I’m 15 and I want to be a criminal psychologist.
Are there any programs that will allow you to interview inmates in juvenile hall or something like that? Like a ten question interview for a report or something. Or do you advise against the entire thing.

Here is an idea, try contacting your local newspaper to see if you can work out a deal which will enable you to become what we used to call "cub" reporters. This is a person who makes contributions of reports of things going on in school and from the view from a teenager about life where you live. Also, you could work in this prison idea that you have.

The idea came to me after visiting this website:

http://www.spj.org/prison-MI.asp

A great site in that you can change the State to which ever one you wish to find out more specific information.

There are even financial/scholarship opportunities on the website but here is a shortcut:

http://www.spj.org/sdxprograms.asp

There sure is a lot of things to investigate here.

When you have a destination in mind, the most direct route is not always the best one to take. Sometimes a more round about way is the way to get what you want since the direct way will be denied.

  1. At 15 your too easy to hoodwink. Interview a Police officer who has been on the force for 10 or more years first. They will have a very good idea how a criminal thinks.
