When can inmates doing time in county call home?

My husband just started a 25 day sentence yesterday in Beauregard Parish Jail and I’ve been waiting for a phone call but have yet to get one. I hate hanging around the house waiting on a phone call… What is the typical time when doing county time that inmates are allowed phone time?

im not sure if im a hundred percent correct or not but we have a family friend in prison and they are usually allowed to call (if they want to) atleast once a day during their yard time or anytime in the general population area (when they are allowed out of their cell)
