Why are we moving inmates from GBay to Bermuda?

I don’t understand what this does. Were closing a controversial prison and moving the remaining inmates that we haven’t already released back to their terrorists organizations, to another soon to be controversial prison. Why do we need to move them? and why does it have to be outside the US?

We can’t have the prison on US soil, because we have a charter of rights and freedoms that conflicts with torturing PoWs.

We’re trying to reestablish trading with Cuba (since we didn’t have a valid reason to embargo them to begin with) and moving Guantanamo is part of the negotiation.

    Because guantanamo bay prison violates the constitution of America and instead of letting those prisoners free the government is asking other countries to accept them in their prisons

  4. Because it was not right for us to hold them there. Of course though, because it makes TOTAL sense, we cannot torture a terrorist…but we CAN kill babies. So yeah, totally crazy isnt it?!?

  5. Weneed to move them because Gitmo is closing. Its closing because it costs too much to run plus Cuba should have the rights to that land.
    Putting a prison with the most notorious criminals in history outside of the US only makes sense. Its fro the prisoners protection, otherwise I’d suspect that people would try to set fire to the prison or somehow try to get in so they could kill the inamtes who have committed such unpardonable acts againts the US.

  8. It cost more money to keep them in Bermuda so maybe our socialist government is trying to see how much they can spend.
