How does a girl react when a guy goes to jail over statutory rape for having consensual sex with them ?
I always hear about teenage guys anywhere from 17-19 going to jail for having consensual sex with a slightly younger girl anywhere from 15-16…sometimes even 17 too. I never hear about the girls reaction and how they take it tho since they dont really get into trouble…but how do the young ladies feel when a guy is thrown in jail over them?
they feel more special because the dudes willing to risk going to jail for them and even after getting caught a lot of the guys return to their little gf and the parents either accept it or intimidate the guy into going away.
i knew a family who had this happen. also, my sister had a kid with a dude at age 15 with a 16 year old. it was her idea to keep them together. it didn’t work. not such a good idea huh?
17 will get you 20. I dont think they take in the fact that some young man is losing a major part of his life.

They may feel bad as they were party to it. However, the adult (have to be at least 18) has a responsibility not to have sex with a child (under age). Because it is consensual, many states make a 3 or 4 year rule where if the boy is within 3 years of the girl’s age that they are not charged with statutory rape.
But a boy who is convicted is a felon and has a sexual offense and is on the registered pedophile list. Many times they can’t find a place to live. It is a major problem here in Florida as the law says can’t be 2500 feet from a school and do you have any idea how many schools there are? Many are living in Ft. Lauderdale under bridges. They get rousted out every so often, but they have no place to go. Some are just in cases like this. Others are involved in forcible rape or sexual imposition.
Both the girl and the boy should take responsibility and not place themselves in this situation. Girls ages vary from state to state as some are about 15 and others are 17.

They seem to think that they are the only one but they are not many times. And even if the guy cares about them now, they had others and may have others after this is over. With sex involved the couple don’t get to know each other as well as to compatibility other than sexual. Many girls feel pressured to have sex t prove their love or don’t want to lose the guy as it is sort of a social thing. Other girls don’t want to date as once they date someone they are sort of stuck with him and others won’t ask them out or if they date several guys as friends or to get to know them they are considered sluts when they are not involved with sex at all. It is a weird mixed up thing. Kids as young as 12 or 13 are involved or think they are not normal because they are not having sex. They are just kids – it is crazy. There is too much pressure to grow up, but instead of behaving in more adult responsible manner they actually are less responsible and hurt themselves and their future.

I think your question lacks the fact you are in denial. Tell us, what is the real age of maturity in this time? The experts tell us it is 35 for men and 32 for women. Should we change the laws or tell the truth?
Maybe we should just be honest! You suggest a 17 year old arrested? If that is your State law or another States law, those supporting these are fools. They should arrest more of the date rape and not those who feel for a younger women. We are getting these rulings because we elect those who do not support male/female love! Their financial support is coming from the alternate lifestyle groups! So they made promises.. Have you ever heard of rape changes against a Lesbian if the girl was underage? It is not supported by media or by our fooled society. The Lesbian could choose a woman their age.. But whatever is done.. it is almost always labelled as ok.
You asked how should they feel. Maybe they need to ask themselves, was it just sex for you? Then what does age have to do with it? It has become a faulty law. Earl
