How long would a person go to jail for committing suicide?

If a person tries to commit suicide and fails, how long would they go to jail for?

They don’t go to jail. They involuntarily go to a mental hospital where they may have to stay until a judge allows their release.

  10. okay so you wouldn’t go to jail as it isn’t illegal but you might have to go to counseling or a doctor for antidepressants . suicide is the most selfish thing a person can do.
