Federal Court sentencing is very complex and depends on many factors, but because the Federal Sentencing Guidelines are used, you can fairly accurately what the guideline range will be. State Court is more difficult to predict. Possession of more than 400 grams of cocaine is 1st degree felony with a range of punishment of 10-99 years or life. If it is possession with intent to distribute it is a "super" 1st degree with a range of punishment of 15-99 or life. More important than the range of punishment is the County you are in.
