What will you do,if cops wants to take you to jail because of drunkenness?

In some countries there is different law about drunkenness. In Turkey if you don’t do anything wrong after you drink; police can’t take you to jail, but sometimes religious cops will take you to jail. One night it happened to me and I resisted them and they attacked me with their billies.

I’d be grateful that I’ll be returning home when I’ve sobered up instead of being jailed for decades like in some other countries.

  2. I don’t drive drunk. Anyone that does should be taken to jail.

In germany , you can get pulled over, if they suspect, and you havent been drinking, and decide to have a beer at home 2 hours later, they can arrest you.

  5. In certain countries offer to bribe them. Risky, and you’d better know in advance if the local police are corrupt. Like all travel, you hafta do this sort of homework in advance.

Otherwise, be very polite and cooperative. Tell them repeatedly that you’re a foreigner and they need to contact your embassy for you. Make up a lie and say you’re related/attached to the ambassador and this could be a big news story. (Could backfire, however.)

Basically don’t get so drunk that the local cops have reason to F*** with you. Be well-behaved when travelling.

  6. In your case, I would only drink in the privacy of my own home.

  7. I would go quietly and not resist. No need to make matters worst.

  8. I think I’ll stick to drinking in my own house… right here in America. If I get wasted, it’s not like I’m driving anywhere. If I can’t get up the stairs to go to bed… well, the sofa’s not too bad. lol

I generally don’t drink a lot at any one time. I have kids that I have to wake up for school the next day. Then i have too many errands to run to imbibe too early, and I usually have a meeting or 3 to be at in the evening (scouts, church, school) so….. drinking is reserved for Saturday night…. and by then I’m too exhausted to drink that much any way. lol
