Why are hospitals and jails are important places for people who have Moon in Pisces?
I have this placement on my Chart and I’m a Scorpio.. So I have more characteristics of water.. So why are they important places for such people?
Interpretations mention jails and hospitals in regard to Pisces because it is the traditional sign that rules institutions. It is the water sign that rules things that are hidden from the masses. Cancer rules things hidden from each of us; Scorpio rules things we hide from each other and Pisces rules things hidden from everyone. In earlier times mental and physical illnesses were not understood and deemed to be within the realm of the unknown. We know much more now and don’t think of his sign or its house, the 12th, as evil or demonic. You should look at this placement as more of an emotional limitation than institutionalization.

There are MANY MANY serial killers who had their Suns and/or Moons in Pisces. That may have something to do with it? Haha more likely to be mentally ill or send people to hospitals or end up in jail?

I have moon in pisces, and I don’t think hospitals and jails are particularily important to me…. i think that the prison/hospital industry (can you even call it that?) is pretty screwed up- since most prisoners get better health care than sick/injured people… but i wouldn’t say that there is a huge emphasis on either of those institutions in my life….
although i have heard that pisces (and its ruling planet, neptune) are associated with hospitals, prisons, insane assylums etc.

maybe because it takes alot of understanding and patience to be around them places, and both Scorpio and Pisces have that,. and are sentimental to people who are in those places.
